My fiancee' and I recently tried unprotected "alternative" sex. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say the word on this forum, but you'll understand what I mean when you read further.
She used the restroom before hand (a few hours before) but not right before we did it: it was pretty spontanious.
I am not worried about general STD's, as her and I have been tested clean. But I have heard that guys who do this to a girl unprotected could catch certain bacteria and/or bacterial infections or UTI's and not know about it at all, which could lead to infertility? Its been a few days now, and I'm wondering if there is anything I should be worried about and whether or not I should go see a doctor to get a check up and just tell him what happened.
I did use the restroom myself afterwards and we took a shower within 5 minutes.
Re: We tried "alternative" sex. Should I be worried?
Those problems are all possible, but under the circumstances you describe, not likely.
I remember going for a checkup, and asking the doctor if there could be any problem, because I just fell asleep afterwards, without washing. He said that the chances were very slim.
Re: We tried "alternative" sex. Should I be worried?
It is possible to to get a UTI from anal intercourse, if this is what you mean and, yes, you can use the word here. Your urinating right after, plus washing, was wise. As the doctor said, the odds are fairly low if she is otherwise healthy but, condoms are still wise even for those with no STDs. If you start having urinary difficultiies, then get in to see a doctor right away for some antibiotics.
