Circumcised Penis Health Care

Is there a way to keep your penis looking nice and pink and healthy? Are there any creams out there that will keep the penis healthy? Or something else? Thanks.

Re: Circumcised Penis Health Care

If you mean nice and pink and healthy like an uncircumcised penis, there is probably nothing you can do without resorting to restoring your foreskin. If you mean that your glans (head) is rough or dry, you can try moisturizing with a non-oil based skin lotion. Something made for babies should be gentle enough. It should relieve some of the dryness, but probably wonít do anything for the color.

Otherwise, if you have significant cracking, chapping, flaking, or other strange occurrence, you may wish to get checked out by a doctor for yeast, jock-itch, psoriasis, or whatever.

100% aloe vera is a gentle moisturizer. it is fine to use on genitalia, and may help.

Re: Circumcised Penis Health Care

I used to use body lotion on it everyday. I dont know if there is any harm to it, but recently I started putting some olive oil to moisturize it. I used to have some harder smegma stuck in places but I found out that oil easily removes all traces and leaves the penis moisturized and very clean and healthy looking. I started just a couple days ago, I dont think there is anything harmful that olive oil can do to the gentials but if anyone knows there is please let me know and I'll stop. But its the best thing Ive tried so far.

olive oil is fine, no problem on the genitals that I've ever heard of.

I can tell you from experience, the normal state of the circumcised penis is pink, soft and healthy looking. If it is not it may be indicative of some other health problem. What does yours look like?

Re: Circumcised Penis Health Care

Hmmm. It seems that after several uses, olive oil ended up drying out the skin on the glands after a certain period of time though the skin on the shaft remained supple. Im going to start using aloe vera gel and see if thats better...
