Allergic to latex condoms?

I have concern that I'm allergic to latex condoms and was wondering if anybody else has had these symptoms... I've already seen a doctor and he's testing me for STD's, but he said he's not sure what it is exactly and that it might be latex, but it's hard to find resources on the internet that describe the symptoms of latex condom allergies.

First thing I noticed was pain during urination
Second thing I noticed was a small bump on the side of my penis... it is raised and at first had a "scab" on it. Now that I've been putting antibacterial cream on it, it's looking better, more like a popped blister, but it's still raised a little bit.
Third thing I noticed was that I have a swollen right pelvis... doctor said it's swollen lymph nodes. My right testicle hurts as a result.

Anybody have any ideas? My girlfriend is my first sexual partner. I'm her 3rd. She said her first was his first too, and the second person wore a condom... so her chance of being infected with an STD is slim to none. She's had a checkup also and her gyno said she's got a staff infection and is taking antibiotics, as am I, just incase. Any idea's would be appreciated.

Re: Allergic to latex condoms?

As a doctor who has examined you isn't sure what it is, we out here in cyberland have to be careful to offer up guesses. I personally would not think it was a latex rash. Rashes like that, I would think, would not result in painful urination as well as a bump and swollen glands. I would guess it was an infection of some sort, though I am not sure what. I take it you were wearing a condom.

With the assumption that you heal up, you can do an experiment and put on the same type of condom you first wore. If nothing then happens, then it was certainly not the condom. Otherwise, I hope your doctor can figure out what it was.
