I've got them too...I think they are tiny arteriole "blowouts"...like pouchhes that fill with blood and form a dark clot. Every now and then one gets irritated and very occasionally will break (or I'll puncture it.) It bleeds profusely but then heals but eventually there's another one in the same spot.
I think of them as scrotal aneurisms about the size of the pin.
You are the first person on the planet that has ever mentioned thme.

I've had them a long time and assumed they formed from a bout with high scrotal blood pressure. I've just ignored mine and they pretty much ignore me.

Thanks to your reminder I will ask my doctor about them next time I see him...in a couple weeks.
