I've been having a skin irritation on my penis just below the head. The skin is read and itchy. It's not the result of too much sex (I wish!). Actually, sex doesn't seem to irritate it. Masturbation (which hasn't been that frequent) does seem to make it itch a bit more. I seldom use condoms. So it can't be an allergic reaction to them. I am an athlete, and I do wonder if the material from the jocks I often wear don't serve to irritate it. Could it simply be the result of dry skin? It bugs me because it itches and because it can create a little cut in the skin sometimes which does affect sex. Any thoughts? Any thing that will make the itching go away? By the way, I know it's not an STD. I've only slept with my wife all my life.
