| Re: Post Prostate Operation
Before you consider implants, you might ask your urologist about injections. Like you, I had a RP last March and have not yet been able to resume erections. My urologist gave me injections beginning in June. They produced a good erection, however, I had extreme pain with them. Many of the guys on this board and WebMD prostate cancer threads have used them successfully, without the pain. So, if I were you, I'd get the urologist to have you try Caverject or Edex and see if that works for you. You might also consider getting a VED and see if pumping will work for you. I have one, but unfortunately I can't get the constriction rings to hold the blood in, so I lose the erections quickly. I do use the VED every night to keep blood flow to the cavernosa.
Good luck in whatever you do.
