Could this be a problem

20 yo male here...Good physical fitness...Limited sexual experience...No medication.

I am a frequent masterbater with a strange past.

Bascially up untill a year ago I used to masterbate by pushing my penis against my leg..and would ejaculate almost totally soft.

After a while I learnt to masterbate the proper way...and while I am not always 100% hard its a good improvement to being more normal.

BUT
Every time I masterbate I need to manually stimulate myself to an erection, and when with a girl guessing etc doesnt get me aroused unless I stimulate myself or she does for a while. And this is becoming a problem

Is this kind of thing common? Can it be overcome...Can I also train myself out of this as well?

Look im not sure how relevant this is because you havent masurbated against you leg for a while but i think you suffered from traumatic mastubatory syndrome (TMS). I think this may be causing some of your problems from previous experience.

goodluck

I think you may have posted me a helpful link...But a mod removed the link.
After googling "tms" and "Traumatic mastubatory syndrome" I came up with nothing
