i have 2 of them in different places. they look like small blackheads, but i don't really know. it's not infected, swollen, or discolored around the blackhead, just a small black spot that recently appeared. it's on the tip of the penis also. i also had a weird very small raised lump on the tip of my penis, but it also went away after a couple of months, then turned into a zit and went away. the blackhead is right beside where the pimple was. i'm not sexually active, and none of these have ever been open sores.
Were you sexually active prior to getting the black dots? It's possible they are genital warts, in which case you should consult with your doctor... no big deal, they can be treated, but don't wait too long until they spread out of control. I would say they could be normal pimples or blackheads, but on the glans of the penis (head), it would be rare to have a pimple there... unless are you uncircumcized? Then the case really could go for either a Sexually transmitted disease or pimple, but certainly worth a doctor check.
Don't worry, doctor's see A LOT worse! So, nothing to be embarrassed about.
