recently i have noticed something strange. about a month ago i noticed that i had little cuts around the head of my penis. i have no idea why these cuts keep appearing. me and my girlfriend have been sleepin together for a while. the cuts were fully healed on before friday night. however they got reopened some how during sex. why is this happenin? what could be causin this to happen? if any thoughts let me know.
It could be a yeast infection. You both need to be treated with a cream. She could have it not from sexual contact with no symptoms. It's nothing much to worry about but it can cause this sort of problem. There are other possible causes though.

what are some other possible causes of this??? if it is a yeast infection would just an antifungal cream work or would i need to get one that treats yeast infections???
I didnt know that men could be treated for yeast infections. Can it be passed back and forth between partner's? Are you sure it isnt an STD? I have heard that herpe's can start with noticing little cuts or a scrape of some sort?????
Just in case it's not yeast, please know that herpes can also manifest in the form of "little cuts". Not to freak you out, but it's another possiblility. A vast number of people with herpes get these and other "atypical" symptoms instead of the textbook blister and sores.
well... i can rule out herpes. I was and am the only person my current gf has been with. we have been with each other for nearly 2 years. i haven't cheated on her. she hasn't cheated on me. so i'm sure it will prolly be the yeast infection. thanks.
i did that to my boyfriend but it was do to my pregnancy.. i had this discharge that would make having intercorse hurt bad.. he had little cuts we were very scared so i told the doctor and she checked for yeast infe.. and i did not have that so she said for me not to worry is was just because of my pregnancy..
well my girlfriend isn't pregnant. so i can rule that out. i figured it was nothing to worry bout. i was just wondering because my girlfriend told me to chekc into it.
Ok so my boyfriend had this exact same thing along with some dryskin. I gave him some monistat cream. and its gone and completely healed after a couple of days. Good luck!
I would like that thank everybody for their input on this. I believe i know what the problem was. My girlfriend shaves, however the times i noticed the cuts she hadn't shaven for a little while. her hair was longer and it was pokey. one of the last replies to this made me open my eyes to this as a possibility. Me and my girlfriend had sex on friday and i had no cuts afterwards or even today. she was shaven nice and clean. so this is why i believe that i had cuts down there. Thanks again.
