how long bore you can feel AndroGel working?
How long does it take to feel the effects or the change in your mood/body/drive? I using androgel for 2days now. how long does it ussually take to tell a differance? Thanks ..i am 47

If have been experiencing low libido for some time. My urologist put me on androgel for two months, then took me off when I reported NO change in libido.

I believe my loss of sexual interest is probably due to:

1. my age (65)
2. meds I'm on (alpha and beta-blockers)

I think you should notice something withing a week or two. Why are you on androgel at 47? I was put on it at age 42 and it turned out to be a mistake. I should have been on HCG in my opinion. Androgel or any T replacement will cause your testicles to shut down making them shrink in size and making you essentially sterile. HCG will cause your testicles to make more T (assuming you are not primary hypogonadal) rather than supplying your T externally and will keep you fertile. I just want to make sure you know what you're getting into......I didnt. Depending on why your T is low there may be better solutions.
