low sex drive

So I've been having problems with the girl, getting an erection and such and i have two questions. The first is why is it that i dont even really feel the urge to have sex with her when were all alone. I'm 19 and masturbation is no problem, but when im with her it just doesn't come naturally. The second is i don't really gain an erection til after I'm pleasuring her with my hands. I dont want to stop because I seem to be doing a good job at that and I'm afraid that i'll lose the erection once i go to put the condom on and proceed with having sex. I'm young and I just don't understand why my body reacts like it does. Your thoughts please!

Re: low sex drive

Well, do you think you are just nervous? Don't let you mind play games with you. If you concern yourself with losing your erection it can be self-fulfulling.

I did not check all your drugs but the first one I did was a problem. The bisoprolol name made me think it was a beta blocker for high BP which it is. Beta blockers are well known to cause erectile dysfunction in many people. This is not uncommon but your doctor may not have mentioned it because he didnt want to "suggest" it to you which might alone cause some people to have ED. Here is a cut and paste from the side effects:

Notice decreased sex drive and impotence. Check all the side effects of your other medications to make sure they are not also a potential problem and then tell your doctor about the problem and he can prescribe something else. Don't be shy, I bet half the men on beta blockers come back with this complaint so he will be expecting to hear from you.
