Can't stay Hard

I just started seeing this guy, and we have attempted to have sex probably about 8 times now. He gets hard as soon as we start fooling around, and he's hard when he's in me for a few minutes and then its limp. We are both pretty experienced and he swears this has never happened before with any other girl. Neither of us know whats going on and he's embarrassed, but I feel like its something i'm doing wrong, or that he's not attracted enough to me. He swears thats not the case at all, and I do believe him but its really frustrating what can we do?

It's not you.. If he gets hard and goes limp after a few minutes it might just be performance anxiety. It happens. Once he becomes comfortable with you everything should be OK.

What about his diet? A high protein meal before "exercise" always works for me.. Try increasing his protein intake.

If all fails, he can try the ED route (cialis, viagra).

Hope this helps,

Re: Can't stay Hard

Scabbybones - You're not alone. My bf and I have been having sex for a couple months now. Sometimes he's able to stay hard enough to have an erection, but a lot of times it's the same case as you - hard for part of it, but the darn thing poops out before either of us are satisfied. I agree with 300cman that it's probably performance anxiety. Have you tried different methods of foreplay? Sometimes that helps. I've also noticed in my bfs case when I try to take him by surprise, sometimes that does the trick...his mind doesn't have time to "remember" he's nervous around me. Hang in there - I know how frustrating sexually it can be for the woman.

Re: Can't stay Hard

It could be low testosterone and/or high estrogen levels.

The testosterone levels should be at the high end of the "normal" range & the estradiol should be in the low end of the "normal" range.

Always get & keep a copy of all blood tests from the doctor for your personal medical records.
