My girlfriend and I just started having sex...well, last night, and this is the first time I've REALLY had sex (i.e. had some very brief encounters before but they were nothing special). We did it 3 times between last night and today, and it seems like I'm having some problems.

First off I'll be very turned on and hard, but once I put on a condom it seems like it's harder to maintain an erection, is that normal? Putting the damn thing on is so distracting I think that's part of the problem...

Secondly, I think I'm having problems with the condom fitment. When I put the condom on I can get it unrolled about 2/3 of the way down, which is doable but it seems impossible to get it to unroll fully. Also, after I finish and take the condom off, there's a mark around my penis from where the little "ring" around the bottom of the condom was sitting. I'm not that big, about 7" and fairly thick as I've been told. I realize condoms are supposed to fit snugly but are they supposed to be that tight?

Try a larger size condom, such as Magnums. As far as the "distraction" part, try making it part of the sexual experience, and have your partner put it on for you. Someone elses touch can make it more exciting, and help you maintain your erection.

P.S. you could be loosing your erection because the condom is too tight.

I agree with the above post.

Get a larger condom to stop the ring and fitting problem.

As for the drop in erection, I myself could not use them for that fact. I would loose interset no matter what type of games where palyed and would not be able to perform.

So I had to bite my lip and wait till we had alll checks and birth control and things in place before we started having sex. Now have 2 kids

, but that was by choice.
