Hi all, please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but....do men go through something similar to the female going thru menopause? If so, can anyone tell me anything about it, such as what age does it begin, what the symptoms are, what to expect, etc. Thanking you in advance. SweetThing

Yes is the answer to your main question. Go to Google (or whatever) and search for 'male menopause' ....the facts will amaze you as they did me.

It can start at ages from 30 to 50.

Your testiosterone gets too low & your estradiol E2 gets too high. Many side effects.

Also google andropause.

I sure hope not because I am getting ready to turn 59!!

I certainly hope when I'm looking at the grass from the wrong side, I will have recently had the urge!! Age doesn't have anything to do with males....know many old 35's and just as many young 70's!!

Hope you get some female answers on how they were able to 'rekindle the flames' and as before, best of luck to you & yours.

Hey Grehound,

I didn't mean was the sex life over (God forbid) I meant was the menopause process over with. Like with us of the female gender the process last a few years and we are past all the symptoms. Just wondering if at 60 the process was complete or still in progress since another poster indicated male meno could begin between 30 and 50. Hopefully, it don't go on forever or does it? I've already tried every way I know to rekindle the flame, I have come to the conclusion that the wood is wet. I'm beginning to think I need to change to another method of heat. Hehe!
