Non-specific inflammation around meatus. Any suggestions?
For about 2 years now I've had a shiny, dime-sized red plaque around the meatus of the penis. It's a bit painful to the touch, but there is no discharge and it has not increased in size over that time. For about a year now I've been going from doctor to doctor and basically getting "I don't know," as an answer. I finally decided to have it biopsied and pretty much got the same answer with it being diagnosed as non-specific inflammation and nothing serious like Zoon's or BXO. The urologist recommended trying Lotrimin (Clotrimazole) cream, but I think I've tried this before and it didn't work. If such is the case once again, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try?
