yeast infection?

hello everyone, i dont know if i have a yeast infection or what not, all i know is that i do have phimosis and i plan on stretching, but im noticing on my glans that there is 1) a lot of smegma and 2) i see a bit of redness which when i touch it, it hurts a bit, i also notice that when i try to get rid of my smegma it also hurts to do that too. My question is what exactly i should wash my glands with (brand name product?) and if i have a yeast infection? and typically, how long should i stretch for Phimosis in a day? One last thing i should add as well, i definitely have difficulty with erections as well.. I want to desperately turn my pain into pleasure, anyone know how long that typically happens? thank you all for reading and have a nice day.

Re: yeast infection?

I just pull back & wash under the foreskin with soap. Be sure to rinse well as soap will cause irritation & redness.

Re: yeast infection?

Have you had a look at my instructions, a sticky near the top of the Men's Health Board? They give ideas about cleaning away smegma and reducing sensitivity too. I'm not sure the redness isn't normal but it may be an infection. You could try a course of cream and/or tablets from a pharmacy. It may fix it and it won't do any harm. I would avoid soap after you get rid of the build up. Rinse very well until you do and then just use plain water.

Re: yeast infection?

im having this problem, firstly use a medicated soap such as detol or sopadem, or ask ur anywer they will hav medicated soap, and if it hurts to much to clean it just use cotton, and go to ur local pharmacy and ask for antifungal cream, or some type of soreness, rash cream.

I'm not sure which brand names in the US. Canestan is common here but ask the pharmacist, you can pretend it's for your femal partner.

in American, that is Vagisil, Monistat, or any over the counter yeast cream for women like them.

Re: yeast infection?

anybody using a medicated soap, or a strong soap, on their penis is asking for trouble. this is more likely a cause of balanitis, than a cure for it.
