I have tried the squeeze tech and when letting go still shoot. I started to take paxil first at 20 mg no help now at 45 mg and still not lasting. Would anyone know of a good ssri for this problem? I have read that using Viagra plus paxil would do the trick has anyone tried this? Thanks.
I am considering going on Zoloft for PE. I haven't tried anything yet, but it is causing a problem in my marriage and I am willing to try anything. I don't know if a different SSRI drug will work differently or not. I go to the doctor later this month and hope to give Zoloft a try.
I have been reading alot on the net about the use of paxil to help with pe and did not want to contact a doctor so I had ordered some from a online phamacy.
I had taken prozac about 10 years ago for ocd so I was not concered. I started with 20 mg now up to 45 my pe has not stopped I gained about 15 lbs and have vivid to vivid dreams. I am thinking about stopping and trying another kind any advice? I notice when on the paxil 45 mg I don't get excited to often like when I am not on any. I tried the squeeze method for pe sqeezed until it was all red and when let go still shot out. Help me please.
Zoloft was horrible for me. I tried it for a while and it was hard to even... well, get hard and stay hard. I would NOT recommend it. Instead, try Cialis. It's an amazing drug. Talking going 3-4 times a night!
Please be careful and consider all options before starting an SSRI. My husband took Effexor for 18 months. The delay in ejaculation was very bothersome. However, the worst part was that the Effexor eventually took away his desire for sex. It's been 18 months now since he stopped taking Effexor and his libido is still not at all what it used to be. These are very powerful drugs in many ways. I'm sure SSRI's are very helpful for many people, but for us - we're still wishing he'd never started. Good luck to you!
I have been taking 100mg of zoloft for a few weeks so far still shooting quick don't want to go up to much higher. On paxil just gained weight fast. Good luck.
I have a bad back and I take Vicodin EX for it when it's really bad. What I have noticed is that I can get hard and stay hard almost as long as I want sometimes to fault.. Fault being not being able to ejaculate while still having a great hard on no matter what my wife and I do.. I'm not recommending taking the stuff for PE but if your in a lot of pain and have a prescription and take the stuff once in a while give sex a try while on it.. George

Ditto. I was on Prozac for eight years and I'm still waiting for my sex drive to return seven months after being off of it. Totally not worth it, find another way.
