My boyfriend was acting so strange last night, he came over my apartment to watch the Redsox game and was trying to get frisky the whole pregame show, then the sox lost and he was all grumpy about it and didn't want to have sex cuz he is "not in the mood" Can that really be why he didn't want to have sex?? We used to have sex like everyday and lately it's been more like twice a week because we are both in college and work full time, so I was kinda upset because I know I won't see him for a few days and I really wanted to. Is there something going on or was it really just because of the game?
From a male perspective, heck yea that could kill his mood! When the Redskins loose a game they should have owned, I get so mad, but I'll also admit all it takes is for my SO to do oral on me and I'm in a much better mood. But I wouldn't make anything out of this unless it becomes a habit.
Elle I think it's the same principal as, say for example, you're having sex and somebody begins urgently knocking at your door. Out of alarm you stop having sex, get up, answer the door, deal with whomever for say 10-15 minutes, then try going back and resuming sex. A lot of the time you can't go back and just restart because the mood has been killed, at least temporarily. Anything that truly upset him can kill the mood. I think it's normal for most.
