why do men have wet dreams

nocternial emmissions typically occour because they arnt masturbating or dont have another outlet for their semin, thats the text book answere, guys get a build up of it in their bodys and it causes a pressure and that pressure triggers the libedo and then there HAS to be an out let, thats why its impossible for guys to say no to sex or even worse they sometimes do stupid things looking for a relief.

Girls dont have to thus they are in much more control of their sexual urges than men(most of the time). Imagine if you had to go pee and there was no where to go its unconfortable and if it got real bad you would have to do something you might not normally do right? well thats when men get stupid, or have wet dreams which ever comes first. no pun intended.

Nocturnal emissions are basically orgasms without direct stimulation. I fondly remember these from puberty that is when guys start having these. At this time, a man is producing copious amount of testosterone as well as sperm and semen. Without sexual release, this combination will produce a wet dream.

It is not unusual for older men to have wet dreams as well if they don't have regular sexual release.

BTW, women have orgasms when they sleep too.

Wasn't so enjoyable for me, I just remember waking up in goo, and thinking "umm what happened" It would have helped a bit if my dad might have explained what might happened instead of me wondering if I broke something.

I made a point when my son turned 10 to have a heart to heart about the whole sexual process, from puberty and changes to expect including wet dreams. He thought it was gross, LOL, but at least he knew what to expect and was no surprises.

I wish I knew back then how to stop them, I was pretty niave then.
