sex

I am 21 and I have been with my finance for 2 1/2 years. I am the only one that she has been with, but I have been with other people, which I am not proud of. Unfortunately, I have a very high sexual drive, but she doesn't seem to have that much of a drive. Is their any kind of medication that can lower my drive, or one that can higher hers ?

Re: sex

This is a common problem. The medicine is called masturbation.

Re: sex

lol, yeah, that would be an option, but I have a strong sex drive for my fiance, not myself. So, a serious answer would be great.

Re: sex

Getting ones sex drive in synch with their significant other is very tough! I am where you are at as well and just have to understand hers is not as high as mine and in the mean time......I masturbate a lot!

But there are other factors that can lower a womans sex drive. Is she on anti-depressants? Birth conrol? Does she drink? Is she depressed? All of these things can lower ones sex drive.

Yes, to lower your drive start on a low dose of an SSRI (anti-depressant)
such as Paxil, Zoloft, etc...
Off-label these are prescribed for premature ejaculation but they also lower desire or diminish it altogther!

Re: sex

A friend of mine went on Zoloft for his depression and although it worked to make him not depressed anymore, he also didn't want to have sex at all anymore. The problem with SSRIs is that they not only take away the bad feelings, but the good ones, too. It kills your sex drive. That's why I wouldn't reccommend an anti-depressant unless you want to completely lose your sex drive.

actually bud. he was serious. men have ahd this problem throughout history. the only answer is to take care of your self and really enjoy the times your gf is ready to make love. Taking drugs is nto the answer.

Re: sex

mrwesman777 -

If you want to continue to have a sex drive at all, definitely don't take the SSRI antidepressants. I've been off of Prozac for almost a year and still have no real libido to speak of. I just started taking Horny Goat Weed a week ago, so far it's not working, but again, it's only been a week, fingers crossed. Maybe she could try it and see if it works for her? Just an idea. You can get it at vitamin/health stores. I've also heard of something called Damiana (also sold at vitamin/health stores) that's supposed to work for women. It didn't do crap for me, but every woman is different and it might just work for her. Good luck.
