Stress related ED.

Hi all.

When I am with a new girl, I tend to have a hard time getting an erection. I have no problems getting it up on my own and once I'm comfortable with the girl I don't have a problem either.

I don't know what to do here. I've only technically been with two girls...and the last one lasted almost three years. We just couldn't get along.

This is really stressing me out and I'm getting depressed. I'm 20 and I'm really afraid to start dating again because of this problem. I don't know why it happens, I'm happy with my body and my performance. It's extremely embarrassing and I don't think someone of my age should have this problem.

Has anyone overcome this?

Re: Stress related ED.

Nobody?

Now that I'm single I'm not the most confident person on the planet.

Knowing I probably couldn't 'get it up' if I were to meet a new girl is also taking a huge toll on me. I'd certainly be looking for another relationship if I knew I could do it.

I'm sure my Wellbutrin (mild antidepressant) would help me in this situation but due to my health insurance ($2500 deductible, no co-pay, pay the whole thing before you get benefits) I can't afford it considering I live on my own.

Who has overcome this? Please help.

Re: Stress related ED.

Caravan, you should talk about your problem with your doctor and request some Viagra. Knowing that you don't have a problem after you've been with a girl a few times, you could just use it in the beginning for confedence, and then stop using it.

Be careful, it is possible to get psychologically addicted to the pill, thinking you need it to perform, but in the beginning, if you're nervous, just 25mg will make you rock hard and feel like a superman.

If your doctor is unwilling, try a urologist, or a sex therapist. Believe me, someone will prescribe you Viagra eventually if you're persistent.

Good luck!

Thank you. I will go to my doctor! I don't want to be worried about getting erect when I go for another girl.

Thank you!
