fungal growth

Hi all

I have recently noticed a sort of fungal growth under my foreskin(uncircumcised) . this can be seen when i pull back my foreskin...

I have been sexually active for a number of years and have made the odd slip without protection but not in well over a year and me and my partner use protection.

I reckon it may be from the condoms and seemen combination and general build up under the foreskin

Can any1 please advise if i need to visit my doctor for prescription ?

Re: fungal growth

Just try an antifungal cream from the chemist. I trust you are washing regularly under there? The "general buildup" should not be accumulating though, if that is the case. Sometimes soap can cause an imbalance in the natural flora and induce a thrush or fungal infection. It may be the brand of soap too.
Your partner may need treatment too; though using condoms should have protected her.
If you don't see improvement in a week or so, see a doctor.
