Please Help with Glans / Rim abrasive discomfort!

I'm 35 yrs old and circumcized and have a host of problems with sexual sensation that I think is related to nerve damage. It's not as if I'm numb on the shaft and head but recently pleasurable feelings have diminished and pain / abrasive / chafing feelings have increased during sex and "at rest"

The part I want to get feedback on is the feel of the glans to touch - for me, even light rub on the head and around the rim with my thumb produces abrasive type sensations. It feels like dry rubber a bit - none of the smooth feel when rubbing skin anywhere else.

Is this familiar to anyone else? Is it massively dried skin, is it from masterbation, or is it all in my head?

Any help is appreciated.

As you are circumcised you have lost the natural lubrication that would be there normally. I would suggest that you try to re-moisturise the head with anything from hand cream to vaseline intensive care lotion. Keep it covered in this as much as you can, and see if this helps to revive the feelings.

Like the previous reply said, with circumcision goes all natural lube. The glans should in fact always stay moist, but being cut, it alwys will stay dry. Thickening of the top layer of skin on the head will be the result. So try not to mastubate dry, meaning go slow with a bit of lube and dont overkill with rough rubbing of the head. For me that kills to much feeling. I normally shower in the morning and evening and always rub in vaseline onto my glans to replace some most. Do this before you take a shower, so that your penis will not be shining of all the vaseline. You will notive that the head stay quit "moist" for some time and will not stain your cloting. When you swim you will find that the chemicals dry out skin in general. Dont be shy to apply parfume free body cream on your genitals as you would do on the rest of your body. It works for me, hope the same for you.

Thanks to both for your responses - hopefully that will help my mindset of having an injured "unit". My other post though is about the possibility of nerve damage in addition to dry skin. Any feedback on that would also be great.....
