alright im an active, in shape 18 yr old with a seemingly inability to attain/maintain an erection with a woman. i started having this problem about 2 years ago and thought it would sorta work itself out, but it hasn't. in fact i cant even maintain an erection without literally wathing porn, in which case im in good shape. just laying in bed and trying to masturbate gets me nowhere. my only theory on this is ive only ever masurbated to porn and somehow messed with my head in a way that actually being with a girl doesnt turn me on...or something. i rarely to never have morning wood and have been to several urologists and had blood work ran on all occasions. t levels were normal as well as all other hormones. im stumped and incredibly frustrated. any imput would be GREATLY appreciated.
I would suggest that you, continue to be tested. At least every 6 months to a year. So often, doctors miss something, that's caught in another exam. I would also go to different urologist as well.
Something is wrong, and you shouldn't rest until you find out what it is. Are you a smoker?
Have your arteries been checked for plack? I've read that smoking clogs the penil arteries that circulate blood thru the penis. Are you diabetic? This could be a problem.
not a smoker. maybe active wasnt clear enough, im training to be a navy SEAL. so running 5-10 miles a day, swimming a mile or two, lifting 4-5 days a week. increased activity doesnt appear to be the problem as i have taken a week off of any activity to see if that helped or made any difference at all. it didnt...
hi,
Training to be a Navy Seal thats great!
If you can get erections watching porn and you can't when your with a female..I don't understand that either?
what did the Dr say? Did he give you any dignosies? did he prescribe viagra ? or any of those type meds? maybe a mental thing going on?
both doctors said they "did not have a disease to diagnose". aka - we have no idea, theres nothing wrong with you. gave me a sample of cialis (sp?). kinda worked though still lost erection fairly quickly. ive been with my gf for nearly 3 years and im extremely comfortable with her, regardless of how much clothing she has on. i dont get nervous, my heartrate stays slow and steady (i actually pay attention to these things looking for clues) so im at a loss
I don't know either sorry, I think I'd see another Dr, maybe a urolgist or someone thats trained in that speciality..
I just don't think sometimes the family Dr,'s don't checks things enough.
