I'm a 23 y/o male in relatively good health. I've noticed that at random times of the day I'll feel a little bit of pain in the head of my penis. The pain is difficult to describe, a bit like a slight stabbing/tingling/burning pain that randomly hits me. The pain is definitely not unbearable but a bit uncomfortable. Has anyone had experience with this sort of thing?

Hey there. I've just read your message and i have the same problems you do. For the past two years now i get random pricks of pain in my penis, along with uncomfortable bouts of pins and needles sensation. It really annoys me because i don't know what causes it and it's hard to take my mind off of it. As for what it is or what to do, i'm probably as clueless as you!

It does seem to be a problem a number of men complain about and which doctors generally are unable to diagnose. Sometimes it seems to be related to having received unprotected oral sex, though no STDs are ever detected. You can see a urologist just to rule things out, but the odds are that they won't be able to help much.

And, ladies, if your man is having such pains it hardly means he got it from receiving oral sex or that he even got it from any type of sexual activity!
