Question Rectal discomfort/pain after orgasm

I used to masturbate once a day on average, sometimes twice. Sometimes when I didn't masturbate for a week the orgasm would be much more intense than usual. However I didn't masturbate for more than a month (about 37 days), then yesterday finally decided to do it, and this is what happened...

First, the pleasure I felt even when I just began doing it was just unbelieveably intense. I expected this, because I didn't do it for such a long time. The feeling was about 100x stronger than usual.

Second, when I was closer and closer to orgasm I started feeling something in my entire body. It was pleasure, but before whenever I masturbated I only felt pleasure down there, not in other parts of my body. This time I just felt like my whole body was going to orgasm. Kinda hard to describe. It felt so intense and pleasurable I wanted to cry out. Again, this was the good part.

Third, and final, and this is the strange part: after I ejaculated and had an unbelieveably intense orgasm, there was a VERY STRONG feeling, almost painful, in my rectal area. It felt like a tightness/discomfort and then like a sharp pain, which subsided about 5 seconds after ejaculation, then completely went away after about 15 seconds.

What the hell happened? Has anyone experienced something like this? I know it's not blue balls because I have no discomfort in my testicles, but could it be prostatic congestion?

I should also add that when I masturbated later that evening, there was still that discomfort, but about 50% less than the first time.

Any ideas?

Re: Rectal discomfort/pain after orgasm

What you discribe sounds like prostate sensitivity. How and what methods you employ during masterbation may also be contributuing to the pain. When the prostate gland becomes hypertrophic, it can lead to tenderness and pain in that region of the body. One of the best ways to help the prostate stay healthy is to ejaculate often, 2-3 times weekly based on an Australian study! Most likely your prostate became conjested from no seminal release in 37 days. If you continue to have pain and tenderness with ejaculation, it would be wise to see your Dr, it could be something else allot more sinister such as cancer or infection.

Thank you for your reply. I employ the most standard technique, simply stroking back and forth. I forgot to say that I'm in my early 20s. Never had prostate problems before. I used to ejeculate at least once a day, but sometimes two or three times. The most I ejaculated in one day is 6 or 7 times if I remember correctly.

The prostate congestion thing seems most likely to me. I remember feeling similar sensations when I just began experimenting with masturbation many years ago, I was 14 or 15 years old.

Does anyone else have some input?
