Hey bro, I'm afraid we're going to need a bit more info to be able to help you. Tell us some more about what is going on, having the same troubles with masturbation? Sounds as if you're getting an erection but not keeping it long enough, but are you losing it once you've started intercourse? Not keeping it long enough to start? Sorry to ask such questions, but this may help us better understand what is really happening for you. And, even at 23, it is common for us to have some problems from time to time. Many factors play a role in our success or "failure" with sexual stuff. I share that just so you know that all of us have some of this stuff happen from time to time and it is damn frustrating and scary! The worst thing for a guy is to have to worry about things not working when we want them to. I suspect that we'll be able to help you get through this once we know a bit more!

Unhappy

lets just say ive been able to get an erection 5 times in the past 4 months....That aint kewl... And when I am able to get an erection, it stays up long enough to get started but then all the sudden its gone.... even when I try mastrubating the same thing happens...

Also when I can get an erection it not even close to as hard as I used to get... Its hard enough for intercourse but not even close to what it should be...

You need to tell your doctor just what you said on your last post. That's not normal. Maybe find a new doctor or get a referral to a urologist.

So few Doctors have a clue when it comes to libido/erectile dysfunction problems. They hand out viagra and expect it to solve everything. It doesn't. It's helped me with erections but not with desire/libido.

The testosterone test is just a range, a large range and falling within "acceptable levels" means nothing if you're having the problems you're experiencing. These doctors who only go by lab test results and ignore what a patient is saying are wrong and incompetent.

Here's a chart showing ranges broken down by age. Mine was within the acceptable range but not for my age.
http://www.alt-support-impotence.org/hormone_charts.htm

I suggest you post your question at the usenet board alt.support.impotence. Many guys on that have had to research for answers themselves due to ignorant doctors. They know alot. You're going to have to be proactive and educate yourself on this.

Also look into your life...stress levels, drug/alcohol use, diet, relationship problems etc. all contribute to this problem. Could be psychological, physical or both.

Tup is right and has given some excellent advice. I'm just wondering how much you are worrying about this and if that is playing a role here. Our two heads are very connected, often when these things happen we get so freaked out that it only makes things worse. However, we can usually continue to masturbate without problem. If there is any drug or alcohol use going on, that too can lead to erection problems. And so can cigarettes. Think about these things and get back with us, we'll offer support and what we can in terms of advice etc. Hang in there bro!
