| Black spots on glans penis
Hi,
I had one small black spot on the tip of glans penis, over a period of 1 year, it has spread and has covered a larger area. There is no swelling, no pain and no discharge.
Yesterday I visited dermatologist. He diagnosed it 'VITILIGO', and prescribed Tacrolimus ointment 0.1% and Mometasone Furoate Cream. On the net I found the meaning of Vitiligo as white spots due to loss of pigmentation. I do not have white spots or even black spots anywhere on my body.
I visited doctor again and showed him that I have black spot on the tip of my penis and not white spots. Surprisingly, he said that my whole glans penis was a white spot from childhood, and now skin is regaining its normal colour. Otherwise the colour of my glans penis is purple-pink apart from these black spots.
I really dosn't know if the diagnosis is correct. I do not think I have VITILIGO, and why should Vitiligo was confined to glans penis for around 46 yrs ?
