Does the "stop and go" masturbation method really fix PE?

Just like the title says. Does the "stop and go" method (masturbating until ejaculation is eminent and then resting and then continuing the process multiply times) really help to prevent premature ejaculation over time? I feel like it should considering it is a matter of conditioning your body but how long does this take to really improve PE? Can anyone actually attest to this method? Anyone have experience? I'd love to hear from you. Thank you!

yes it does because you're practicing control!

Re: Does the "stop and go" masturbation method really fix PE?

see, I often hear that but I can't say I totally understand. Does this mean that your body will be able to last longer or does this simply mean that you will be able to know when you are about to ejaculate and then rest? Like stop and go WHILE engaging in sex? If so, then that doesn't fix anything whatsoever. Is the goal of the stop and go method to condition your body to naturally last longer or is it to "perfect" the stop and go technique?

BOTH!
the purpose of practicing and perfecting it means that you will be able to stop and go during sex, as a way to last longer, and have control of the timing of your ejaculation in order for your partner to be able to have more time to reach her orgasm since women take longer usually.
keep practicing, your partner will thank you!

This doesn't make much sense as a legitimate conditioning technique... you're saying that if you practice "stopping and going" you will then be able to "stop and go" while having sex.... If I can stop and go while masturbating then doesn't that logically mean that I understand the technique and can therefore implement it during actual sex? What's the point of practicing then?

practice makes perfect!

do you think that olympic ice skaters say to themselves "I already know how to skate, no need for me to practice"

Re: Does the "stop and go" masturbation method really fix PE?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Are there any males that have actual experience on the matte that can tell me about their experience with this?

Yes it works as part of a graded exposure programme. You start off with getting the hang of applying the squeeze whilst masturbating. You then move on to penetrative sex, first by introducing the penis without moving (some refer to this as aclimitising). If you feel yourself about to ejaculate, withdraw and apply the squeeze. You then move on to gentle thrusting, again withdrawing and applying the squeeze if ejeculation is imminent. Next you progress to simply slowing down or stopping, but remaining inserted, until the moment has passed.

This method is tried and tested, and has been around since Masters and Johnson in the 1970s. Yes it works, but maybe takes a bit of time and practice.

Well,to tell you the truth it will help you but when you have sex a lot of times it feels so good and then you try the stop the partner will say keep going and then bang. The best way to do it is get sum viagra and she will love you.

What is this "squeeze" you are referring to? I didn't think there was any kind of squeezing in the stop and go technique... do you mean kegels?

In my experience, stop and go practise will help some, but in a limited way. Part of that is because you are practising only one aspect. Normally during intercourse you are using your muscles to hold yourself in postion as well as thrust. Some guys find the thrusting and constant muscle strain very stimulating and lose control of their ejaculation quickly. If you are going to practise then it needs to be thrusting as well as stop and go. If you make a V in a pillow and get in the top position and practise thrusting and stopping, you will see how easy it is to lose control.

You can also try always being on the bottom where you can use less muscles and be more in control.

IMHO, the only way to gain significant contol is go use low dose anti-depressants which actually come close to preventing ejaculation. I have experienced this first hand and can attest that no matter what you try, you can not ejaculate for a long time; if the ejaculations is blocked by a drug (super frustrating). A lower dose, dramatically increases the time without preventing it. Of course its an individual dose, you have to experiment a while to find what works for you.

If you have a mild case of premature ejaculation, then exercises will help. If you often ejaculate faster than two minutes and have a very hard time controlling it, then you are condidate for low dose anti-depressants.

The squeeze technique involves squeezing the head of your penis pretty hard until the feeling that you are going to ejaculate stops. I found this very uncomfortable and very dissatisfying; not to mention you may often not squeeze fast enough to stop the ejaculation.
