Penicilan?

I was wondering what this could be used to cure. I know a lot but heres how to narrow it down. A few days ago I posted a topic called Rash.. check that out for more information. Today I learned that my cousin has to take it for a week or two. I was wondering if this could be linked to the problem I'm having in my previous post. We were both in the pool together the week I started having the rash (on my testicles if you don't feel like reading it) I was told it was probably jock itch but could it be something more? Its kind of gotten better but after a week I can still tell its there

Re: Penicilan?

Penicillan is a basic antibiotic that is used to treat a wide range of things, such as: bronchitis, strep throat, syphillis, staph infections, tonsilitis, ear infections, etc.

Re: Penicilan?

Ask your cousin why he's taking it, maybe you'll find your answer there....In the meantime, why don't use get some stuff for your rash and see if that helps....eddie

Re: Penicilan?

Will do. I dunno, it doesn't seem much like a rash anymore. Its still a little red but its hard to notice anything irregular. It just itches and burns occasionally and of course if I scratch it burns more. I think I can see little in some places but some are red and not really raised and others are I think from the pubic hair or something.

Re: Penicilan?

I suspect that he is taking penicilin for some other reason. Very rarely is penicilin given for the type of rash you describe. A rash like this is sorta difficult to get rid of in the summer because of heat and sweating so keep trying the suggestions given in your earlier post.

Re: Penicilan?

My boyfriend sometimes gets the "jock itch" thing going in the summer. He got a prescription ointment from the Doc last year as it was really irritating, he also used "Gold Bond Medicated Powder" to keep it dry down there. It worked cleared up soon. So far this year he hasn't had it....He said it was itchy and very uncomfortable...
