Lately, I've noticed that my back is pretty arched. It is really really arched that my butt sort of juts out. It's sort of like when you wake up first thing in the morning and you stretch and yawn and your back just naturally arches. I know it is natural for the back to be arched a little, but mine is arched a lot. I'm not suffering from any health problems b/c of this, but I was wondering how I can help "straighten" my back a little. My family has noticed this and have commented on how my buttocks jutts out. I don't know, maybe this might be even a little sexy to some, but I really would like to correct it.
Has anyone else experienced this and what course of action did you take?? Thanks for replies all!
Well, if it's not hurting your back it's probably just a normal thing but it could be if it's too much curvature like you say. You could help it by doing some abdominal exercises like crunches or situps to strengthen your front muscles since they are obviously weaker than your back muscles.
Lots of guys have butts that stick out, and lots have those that look like they left them in their other pair of pants. It is a normal variation as long as it's not causing pain or discomfort.
I had a noticable sway back when I was a kid and adolescent. It never caused me any trouble except for a few comments from my mother. I think I just grew out of it though I suppose my buttocks still stick out a little. Maybe a physiotherapist could suggest exercises to reduce the sway.
I agree, if theres no pain don't mess around with the back, it could affect the entire body, i do think you should see a Doc just to be on the safe side or see a chrypractor (bad spelling)
good luck in what ever you do
Once again thanks everyone for the replies! I don't think it's really a problem. Maybe I'm just a little paranoid. Heck, I think the women will think it's sexy. Thanks again!
