There are a few small white bumps on the underside of the head of my penis, they are extremly small, look like small white zits. My first impulse was oh no! genital warts! But, after reviewing my pathetic sex life, (one girl about 2 years ago, used a condom) I think that would be rather unlikely. I looked on the web at pictures of genital warts as well, nothing I saw really resembled my 'bumps' anyway. I noticed them about a year ago, don't know if I just didn't pay attention before or if they didn't exist before. They haven't spread at all, in fact I dont think they have changed since I first noticed them.

So, if not genital warts, what could this be? Just a normal part of my penis?

SOunds like it could be Pearly Penile Papules. You can do some research on this and check out some pics to see if that makes sense. If that is what it is...
don't worry about them....part of the equipment, not any STD and nothing to do that can remove them.

I have them as well. I was really worried about them until I read this, cause I'm only 19 and thought that I might have some kind of STD or something. I checked up on the net about them and it turns out that around 31% of guys have them, I never would have guessed that so many guys have the same thing as me.

Yep silly me had them and worried about them for 11 years before being sure of what they are!

I even went to a doctor once and he said it was "just me" but that was such a bad exmplanation that I thought he was just fobbing me off.

They cant be considered too "freaky" or "ugly" either as I have seen quite a lot of porn where some of the men have Pearly Penile Papules. If it didnt harm their career in the sex industry I dont think it should harm our sex lives <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">

There IS a picture there and its exactly what I have too (except for the bumps on the actual glans of that guy - thankfully!). I had always wondered if they were normal but since I've always had them, assumed they could not be from an infection. I have another similar qurie however: I also have 2 other tiny white soft bumps just below the glans, just on either side of the frenulum where my forskin joins it. Are these normal and what are they for?!

Hi brianwolf,

I have the exact same 2 small white bumps on either side of the frenulum. This was discussed months ago and I think the consensus was that it is completely normal and that they are just some sort of gland. Don't worry about it.
