I am starting to wonder if I am not having erection problems that are mental and I don't realize it. I am able to acquire a erection but not keep it long enough for penetration. Went to a DOC and Viagra didn't work but my fiancee seems to think it could be in my head. How do I know and if so any idea's on a resolution?
Viagra only works if there is a lack of blood flow to the penis causing impotence. In your case it didn't work so that would tend to mean that your problems are most likely not physical. I would check back in with your doctor though and let them know that Viagra does not help the problem and let them decide what to do next. The only way your doctor can possibly know that the Viagra didn't help is if you let him know this as well as letting them know that you are still having problems and need more help.
I am 21 and no meds. I have alerted my doctor that viagra didn't work and the options they gave were all painful. Everything from injections prior to intercourse to tablets that disolve. I can start to get hard but it doesn't last long.
wow..the viagra didn't work? that stuff makes me hard forever...what dose were u taking? and did your doc try to up your dose? u might also want to get your testosterone levels tested

I had a friend who had a simular problem. There was really nothing wrong with him but...
Everytime he got into bed to make love to his spouse he'd loose the erection upon entering his g/f. Nothing worked. Hormones fine, etc. He did fine with B/J's in the car or outside, etc. Then he found out it was that he liked having sex in exciting places where there was a chance he'd get caught. The sand pit on the golf course at night. The dugout at the ball field. In the back yard with the neighbors in their's. The thought that someone might just hear of catch them was just the excitement he needed to finish the job. I once caught him in a carport of a friends house going at it and when my headlights hit them, he told me later, it was the best "O" he's ever had cause he got caught. I think his g/f was mortified.
Good luck. Try exploring your options and adding that risk to your sex life. My wife and I do it regularly. Sex in the back yard in the daytime or getting a B/J on the edge of the pool. I love it. Also, I really like watching in the mirror. Bedrooms full of them (not on the ceiling). I like looking up and seeing the motions and grind of it all.
