Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Hi,

About a year or two ago I noticed little white 'lumps' about 1 mm in size on my forskin, they seemed to be located mainly around the veins. They are solid, and feel like little bits of grit under the skin if I role my foreskin between my fingers. Then a few months after I noticed similar bumps on the shaft of my penis, however these all have hairs growing out of them, and if i squeese them (not an easy thing to do! and painfull), some of them will give out a little bit of white, puss stuff, but not liquid, more solid, after this the lump still remains.
they are also on my ball-sack, and i think each one is at the base of a growing hair. more and more started showing up, now there is alot (maybe 25-50) on the shaft of my penis and both my penis and sack itch milidly, every so often, but it does cause annoyance.

Just recently i noticed some (2 or 3) bigger bumps (2 mm) on the very back of my toung, and that has made me look more closley at my toung. I dont know if the big bumps have always been there. also there are tiny little bumps just below my lower lip on the outside, these are maybe 1/2 a mm in size and there are alot of them about 1/2 a mm apart, they are not noticable unless you look very closley, so I dont know if i have always had these, if they are normal or if I have just noticed them cos I am getting worried.

I have seen a doc' about the bumps on my penis, and he said they wern't warts and they were just 'glands', and they were totally normal and nothing to worry about. but the other things, on my scrotum and mouth regon have got me worried again.

Man that was a big post! :P
any replies similar stories ect would be good, and ill see if i can get some pictures to post.

Thanks again.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

I think i have the same condition as you. Little bumps on the base of the penis and spreading upward, hair growing out of some of them, mainly at the base. Sometimes i can get some kind of white puss like substance to come out of some, and they still dont go away. I did see a doctor about it and she said there was nothing she could do to get rid of them. But she did say that they might go away after your done going through puberty, OR they might stay with you even longer . Now whatd id like to know is how do they not have a cream or medicine for this disguisting problem?! I cant even let a girl see it. itd gross her out and embaress the hell out of me! Though i think im gonna see a dermatologist soon. IM GETTING DESPERATE TO GET RID OF THESE THINGS! IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON HOW TO GET RID OF THESE THINGS PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

I can't believe the doctor didn't tell you they are totally normal. Perhaps you misunderstood. EVERY male has them after they reach puberty. They are sebaceous glands and/or hair follicles. It is just that the skin is thinner and more transparent on your penis and scrotum. You can sometimes squeeze out a bit of secreted oily white stuff but the glands themselves are responsible for the whitish bumps and you can't get rid of them. You shouldn't want to either. You are just the same as other men and if you didn't have them you wouldn't be normal. Sometimes one does develop into a pimple but this is not something that happens very often. Relax any girl will just see you as normal which you are.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

I second Geoff's response. They are all just hair follicles with or without hairs. Nothing to be concerned about. Unfortunately, as you get older, these follicles start to sprout hairs further down your shaft. It's just an annoyance.

PS, do they go away after pubity? because i believe i am fully developed by now, and mine appeared after my main puberty spert, im 18 now.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Do all males get these things? I am also curious as to why and how they spread.

Thank you

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Both of you please read what I said. ALL MALES AFTER PUBERTY HAVE THEM. They will not go away and there is absolutely nothing you can do to make them less noticeable nor should you. Every male at your stage of development and onwards will have them and you would be a doing yourself damage if you tried to get rid of them. Some of them may become less obvious as more hair grows but I am sure it is only you who sees them. They are not obvious unless you get really close otherwise you would have seen them on other guys getting changed or whatever. They will do no harm. No girl ever commented on mine and if a girl did comment you could quite rightly say "All guys have them". Just relax and accept your body. It's perfect as it is. If you don't believe me ask your best mate or you dad if they have them. Also they are not something you caught so they don't spread. They just develop naturally as your body matures.
[This message has been edited by GeoffB (edited 08-09-2001).]

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Come on you guys! You are making this sound like it's some disease that's spreading. You guys aren't listening.

It's normal.
All guys have them.
They won't go away.
You can't get rid of them.
Get over it and move on.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Boy, I've got those little devils and if I spent as much time worrying about how my equipment looks I'd have never gotten to use it. Really guys, nobody, espcially girls are gonna have time to study what's there and how it looks....hopefully you'll both be too busy! No big deal, stop worrying about it!

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

I wish people would stop saying 'there just part of the equipment' and 'they are not noticeable' because mine are! They are not just on the base of my shaft, but all over, bottom, sides and a few on the top, even if you were standing a few meters away you would be able to clearly see them. I know they are normal, thants not what i want to hear over and over. And i do not believe there is nothing i can do to make them less noticable.
Just rember, just because yours might not be as noticable or as many as some other of us, dont say just 'not to worry'.
please reply if you have had any luck with anything that lessens their apperance, Thanks all.

PS. if i find anything on other parts of the net on how to make them less noticable ill post whatI find here.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Obviously, this is really bothering you and nothing we can say is going to help ease your mind. So please, go to your doctor and ask him to take a look at what is there and discuss with you any options for their removal. Good luck!

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

I have a few of those too on my ball-sack, and they are really anoying and I want them to go away. If they get any bigger or more I will go see a doctor, to maybe lance them open? Or I will go see a dermatologist.

This is going to sound really scary, but I had one that got really big, and wouldn't go away for like a year. I finally took a razor blade, sterilized it with a match, and cut it open and squeezed out the puss. It left a little scar. I wouldn't recomend anyone do this, and I won't do it again. Go to the doctor.

Re: Little skin coloured bumps on penis

Guys listen up.... I've read several times about some of us deciding that something needed to be removed from the equipment by various means involving sharp objects...razors, needles, knives etc. Doing that stuff is SOOOOOOO dangerous!!! Think about the possibility of getting a serious infection on your penis or scrotum...those infections are often life altering to the flesh. I think we all like the equipment and want to keep it, so don't take that risk. If there's something you're worried about....please see a doc and let them deal with it! Just my bit of advice for the day!
