A good hand washing with soap takes care of the little guys. As for the oxygen, I'm sure they are still somewhat active for a period of time but certainly "die" after a while. Hope this helps, just a tip.....never take unnecessary risks, if you're concerned about pregnancy or such....wash up and be really safe!

There are millions of those little guys in each drop of semen, so some will live longer than others. Great advice, wash and take other precautions whenever you can.
I have read though that air not just oxygen "kills" sperm. But you have to remember, not all of the sperm in semen is exposed to the air once it's out in the open.
