I have these white pimple like things on my scrotum. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? I think they are just clogged sebascious glands, but they are very anoying! They seem to be rather deep under the skin, so I can't squeeze them out. If I go to the doctor will he make them go away?
[This message has been edited by dylon8000 (edited 10-02-2001).]
They are hair follicles. They won't go away, there's nothing to squeeze out and the doctor can't do anything about them. All guys have them, more or less. So relax and quit worrying about it. It's all perfectly normal.
I've seen lots of posts from young people thinking that whitish bumps under the skin on the scrotum and the shaft of the penis are some disease. Usually they are hair follicles that may/may not have any hairs coming out. You obviously had something else. Can you enlighten us as to what you had?
Does anyone else have any information on these? They are definitely NOT hair folicles. They are more like clogged sebascious glands. They are very anoying, and seem pretty far under the skin, so I can't squeeze them out. It sucks. I think I am going to go to the doctor this week to see if he can make them go away.
[This message has been edited by dylon8000 (edited 10-14-2001).]
Again, I'll repeat myself. Hair follicles are and can be surprisingly big. If you can't squeeze anything out then that's what they are. I would recommend seeing a doctor and see what he say's. Let us know what the doctor told you.
