A question about body hair development

I am a 32 y/o male who has little (almost no) body hair. What little I do have is very boyish- just peach fuzz. I was an extremely late bloomer and am wondering if I have low hormone levels (still). I am aware that this can be caused by hypogonadism, and there are products available by prescription that can treat this. Has anyone else had any experience with these problems and, if so, what did you do about it? Any information posted here would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan,
In search of more body hair growth...

Re: A question about body hair development

I think the reason no one has replied to this question is simply that no one--including me--knows the answer. You'd have to ask a doctor. My guess is that you're just one of many, many men who by nature or genes or whatever, simply don't have much body hair. Most of the time it's not a case of anything being wrong at all. As to whether hormone therapy could cause you to grow more hair -- again, you'll have to check with an expert...

Re: A question about body hair development

Testosterone plays a large role in hair growth. You may just have lower levels.

That's easy to fix. <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">
