I'm a 29 old year male. I used to have fairely high hair growth
rate when I was in my teens. Now I've ample amount of hair on
my legs, butt and arm pits. On my chest and back it started to
grow, but it looks like it stopped in between. But I still can see
hairs of small length all over my chest and back.
My question is: will I have hair growth on my chest and back
now ?
[This message has been edited by pt153 (edited 11-17-2001).]
Okay, I'm not a male...but, my ex-husband and my current boyfriend both starting growing chest, shoulder and back hair the same year they hit 30. My boyfriend is now almost 32, and it's still coming in. He hates, I like it! Such is life!

Here's my take...
I'm 37 and just started getting chest hair. I've always had hair around my nipples but now I've got it growing in patches. Not too much but here and there. There must be a hormonal change in men's bodies after thirty. Go figure.
Freaky, I think you are right. I had this discussion tonight over turkey with my family would you believe...All agree! more hair after 30! yep, it happens! but, actually, compared to females, you men have it made! Bring on the hair, don't worry about periods, birth, menopause, female organ problems, sex drives, body figures, moodiness, mamograms....etc!....enjoy!!!!!

I started getting hair all over my back soon after I turned 24. The hormones must have kicked in early. I still can't figure out where it came from. All the other males in my family have very little hair.
