I am glad to have found your web site, i hope you can help.
I am a 29 year old main problem is 5 small lumps on my penis that appear to be warts. They cause no pain at all, and are very hard to the touch, almost pebble like. They are not noticable unless i have an erection. I noticed them about 2 weeks ago and it has been about 10 months since sexual activity, and that was oral sex. It has been 1 year since intercourse. I have no allergies, not on medication, no surgical history. Thank you soooo much for your help, as it is a very touchy subject for me.

Re: warts

Hi Larry and Welcome to the Healthboards!

This subject has come up alot lately here. If you have the time there is another post floating around this board today about something kind of like your question. Also check out the general board and Male anatomy board, Might find some more help for you.

I suppose it is possible these are warts. It could be ingrown hairs also. (As we've just learned in here. ) It's possible these could be something else also. Consider talking to your doctor about it, even though there is no pain. It's still something you think about and like you said it's a touchy subject. Doctors are pros. They won't think any less of you for asking questions. And if it is something they can take care of, or he tells you it's normal won't you feel much better?

Good luck, and let us know what happens! Maybe someday when someone else askes a question like this, you'll be able to jump in and help.

Re: warts

To be honest I'm not really sure what it could be. Yes it could be warts. And some types of those can be treated. (Maybe all types??) There are other things that it could be though. That's why this type of question is so tough for anyone here to answer. People have called these ingrown hairs, pimples warts, little bumps. Most of the time they say the exact same thing, they describe them as looking the same even. Then later on we find out they are all different. Some are warts some our pimples, the last one turned our to be an ingrown hair possibly.

I'd guess if you were to talk to your Doctor on the phone he may not be able to tell you what it is either without actually looking at them. But you never know.

It's possible these are warts, but it's also possible it's something else. Sorry I know this doesn't help you much. But without actually seeing them, it's hard for anyone to help too much. And please remember, we're not doctors, just regular people like you'd meet on the street, trying to help each other out whenever we can.
