Very important!!

A little while ago I had pretty rough anal sex twice in one day
Two days later there was little red-ish dots on the head.....i was pretty scared

The next day it turned into more of a rash and i was freaked!!!

its been getting a heck-uv-a-lot better and now its pretty cleared up....

i think it could one of these possibilities:

- Friction Burn
- Irritation
- Balanitis (although it doesnt look nearly as bad as the pictures i've seen)

I am getting better and i have only had one partner and she is clean (trust me, she was a virgin before she met me) so it cant be an STD, or can it???

it seems to get worse after oral sex but then if i dry it off and clean it afterwards it seems to clear up again pretty well....

If anyone could help me, i would appreciate it (just dont scare me anymore than i am scared now, please?)

thanks alot,
Worried Guy...

PS - it looks worse a little with an erection

PPS - I would like to avoid the doctor if possible (i know its being picky but i am pretty shy when it comes to that kinda stuff)

Re: Very important!!

I think you got a good old fashioned friction burn that just needs time to heal. Those things happen, especially when we aren't too lubricated or things are a bit tight (most likely with anal sex) Sure, when erect there is more blood there and that will highlight the dots more. I think you need to lay off the action for a few days and let things get back to normal or you'll keep irritating it more. There are some lotions you can use there, but often we react to them also. Just keep an eye on it for other issues!

Re: Very important!!

Just sounds like a irritation, generally it could be balanitis, but it is more common in uncircumcised males. Are you circumcised or not, as this may of course change the opinion of what it is. But again generally balanits is more prevalant in uncircumcised males.

Just use warm water when your shower and clean the penis and dry thoroughly. If it continues to flare up, see your doctor and may need a couse of steroid cream to reduce the inflammation!

Cheers,

Re: Very important!!

Sounds like it was Balanitis. Generally a bacterial infection which goes away with warm water cleaning.

It may come back, but it is easily treated.

Good Luck

I wouldn't worry about it!

Re: Very important!!

Thanks for your help
you dont realize how much I do appreciate it... :-)

But i have another question....

Could the balanitis be caused by having unprotected anal sex and then not washing the head of the penis for like 3 days or so???

I was camping and there wasnt a shower so i couldnt wash or anything, i didnt really think of this till now...

....Thanks a bunch
...........Its looking great!!!!

Re: Very important!!

I suspect that the cause could have been lack of shower but don't know for sure. However, if you go camping like that again you might take some water in a container for the purpose of cleaning under the foreskin cause that really needs to happen frequently because of potential bacteria build up and such.

Re: Very important!!

Yep, it is most likely to be caused by having anal sex and not washing your penis for 3 days!

Re: Very important!!

Thanks for everyones help!!!!
I really appreciate it alot.... :-)

I have a few questions i hope everyone can answer:

. will the balanitis come back???
. If so, how often???
. will frequent washing (daily) make it a "sure thing" that it will not come back???
. Is it true i should not recieve oral sex ever again???

also any other information you could give me about it would be a big help....

PS - Even though I too agree that it was probably "Balanitis", I must say
I only had like 1 symptom of it.....and the pictures I saw of Balanitis didnt look very much like what i had......oh well....meh...

..........thanks a bunches

Re: Very important!!

No need to "deprive" yourself of oral sex, just keep the old boy clean....EVERYDAY you need to wash and clean it and you should have no problems. And in the future if you cover it with a condom you'll be much less prone to have ANY problems that could be pretty serious! So, keep it covered and keep it clean!
