I've been looking for info on what could cause a lack of sex drive in men. I found info on testosterone levels, but that seems to include physical symptoms that don't apply. I'm sure there are a lot of things that can cause this, but I'm not sure where to start. Some other symptoms include mood swings, disorientation, and depression. Urinary leakage. History of prostatitus. No problems with erections, though. Any suggestions appreciated.

Are you taking any medications on a routine basis? Many medications can cause a low sex drive.

Thanks for your response. It's my husband I'm asking about. I checked all his prescription meds and none of them listed lower sex drive as a side effect.

I know that urinary leakage is a symptom of prostrate problems. If he's depressed that can also have a lot to do with it. Is his low drive a problem for you or is it also a problem for him? How old is your husband? You might check into male menapause. It really does exist. I've checked into everything. I suggested low testestone to my husband. He showed me real quick that his levels were fine. So I've quick trying to find an answer. I just assume now that it is just his lack of desire for me. It doesn't make me feel any better even though I do know that he loves me.

My husband has the same problem at times, he said he just has no sex drive and he is just like that yet it's the first time ever that hes been like this.It all boiled down to stress at work,Once he quit his job and got a better less stressful one he was back to normal in all ways.It can be so many things.Good luck!
