I once talked to an acquaintance, who is a doctor who specializes in circumcision surgery.
I asked if the surgery cut part of the nerve away. He said no. There is no nerve endings there.
I didn't believe that, till now.
The foreskin has blood vessels, and very sensitive to the touch.
Of what I believe, if there is feel, there is nerve.
Only that it's not mechanical-related nerve to be seen.
And the foreskin contributes greatly to feel too.
Whether it be detrimental to sensation, I can only say that of most that got it done has lesser sensation than before, but they don't ever complain of the side effect.
And most that got circumcised are still with foreskin half covering the head, during relaxed.
As the doctor will only cut less, than cutting too much.
Otherwise there is a risk of the penis pulled by the skin causing it to bend in an angle during fully erected, and can cause discomfort or pain during to and fro motion.
The most optimum situation is that the foreskin can be fully retracted, and without pain, and without bending in an angle.
Many men don't even bother with this, but most are unknowingly encountering difficulties during copulation.
If the foreskin is not fully retracted properly, the back and forth motion in rubbing will create friction and the skin lesioned and that may cause the same to opposite partner too.
Especially without first retracting the foreskin fully and properly before wearing the condom, twisting force is induced at particular section during piston movement causing discomfort or pain in man, and this have been creating many sex problems between two partners, especially if the man is to forfeit using the condom thus creating unwanted babies.
While pain involved in sex, disharmony becomes the excuse of breaking up.
Although a little pain can prolong the duration of time in man, and it's true only for short period, but if happened in long-term partners, after the freshness ceased, the pain accumulated will become one's intolerable torture.
So the foreskin to be fully retractable is important.
Since being an infant, till adolescence, the foreskin that not circumcised, will still stick and attach firmly to the head, then problem arised.
The sperm storing too much in body then will release during dreams. And the prolonged wetness at night induces bacteria and infection. At this time, the foreskin has to finally be forced to reveal the entire head to be cleaned, otherwise the infection keeps on.
To unfold the foreskin to reveal the whole head, have to use a syringe without needle and siphon in with water.
While unfolding the foreskin that attached to the head, bit by bit, using the squirt of water at the same time as lubrication. It'll hurt, but just do it slow. If done properly, there should never be any blood involved.
Or use the squirting of water from the shower head instead.
(or WD40 for extreme case, just an suggestion without any proof, if you feel fine then without rash or discomfort, but not recommended if you already have lesion)
There is also a frenulum (a tissue), attaching the foreskin to the bottom of the head (as if the frenulum under the tongue), and this frenulum creates problem too. The contraction of this frenulum, may be too short and inducing a pulling effect on the foreskin while in back and forth motion. Then lesion occurs, bringing pain.
In circumcision, doctor won't cut this frenulum.
If it is really too short, see if a doctor will cut it for you.
Usually this frenulum can be exercised to extend, and be more elastic too.
Since this frenulum's main function is like an automatic hinge of a door, the purpose is to spring close the skin to conserve the head from direct exposure and loss of moisture.
If the penis is bent while erected, there indicates a problem.
The problem may be long term erecting in a confined position, especially during sleep. Sleep naked then.
And it may be scar tissues, blocking particular blood flow, or reproductory or urinary system has poisons or waste.
And Chinese herbs can cure too.
Concern of circumcision surgery------
Foreskin intact and fully retractable without pain provides the best sex pleasure.
But moisture left after peeing without fully dried can provide the biggest chance of getting infection.
Phimosis is foreskin covering the head entirely.
Circumcision is to be decided, if foreskin not sticky to the head but providing pain when retracting the foreskin to the back of the head.
Also paraphimosis may occur, that is the foreskin trapped behind the glans and can't move forward over the glans.
Fluid may then be trapped in a foreskin left retracted, or accumulation of fluid in the foreskin because of friction during vigorous sexual activity. Swollenness and lesion and infection too.
