I don't know what happened to me. I'm 22, and I can't seem to get it up like i used to. And when i do, it don't last long at all. I used to get rock hard erections just thinking about sex. I would get horny almost all the time and i would have sex like an animal when i was with this girl back in April. Now I can't perform and i don't think it is anxiety or anything. I don't feel nervous at all. When i do get erections they don't seem firm enough.. also when i try to quickly put on a condom, I immediately lose the erection. It is so frustrating and embarrasing. I don't smoke nor drink.. i don't do drugs of anykind. I've tried taking some natural herb pills that supposedly help with this but nothing as of yet.. Kill me please!

I went to the ER today because i have severe pain in my neck and i have a sore throat. It started 2 days ago, but i also informed the doctor about the erection problem.. He pulled down my pants and he even got a culture which i have to wait a for days for the results.. In any event, he says that it is a mental problem.. but i don't know. I'm not nervous at all or anything.. Man, i remember the days where i would get a hard on for practically thinking about sex or watching a woman walk by.. now i don't get aroused as easily anymore.. strange.. Can STD's like chlamydia or Gonnorhea cause erection problems?

spy, you could have a hemoraged cervical disc, I'm surprised the dr. didn't want to do an mri, or at least a emg. you should post on the spinal disorders board. do you have pain or numbness in your hands? if you blew out a disc in your neck, it could absolutly cause sexual problems, the spinal cord controls every organ in your body. good luck

Thanks for the reply. I have no pain or numbess in my hands or arms.. Just my neck and throat feels sore, like if i had a pinched nerve or something. But i had the erection problem way before this pain in my neck. I don't know. I'm surprised the doctor didn't go all out himself.. but he said the soreness is due to a viral infection that will get better in a few days.
