Crusty stuff???? - Sexual Health - Men Message Board

On my pubic right around the sides of my balls and underneath I have this crusty stuff on that hair but not anywhere else, what is this and is it normal? I don't know if it is because of sweat or what if u have had this problem please let me know what you did or what this is. I'm 15 if that helps any. Please write back a.s.a.p. I want to know if this is bad. Thanks a lot!!!

I read somewhere about something very similar to what you just described. It talked about some strange buildup on the hair on the sides and underneath the scrotum. And if you were to try to scrape whatever was on the hairs it would come off, but it might come up again. I'm not sure what it said it was or what caused it, but do you practise good hygiene and clean the area regularly?

Sounds like seborrheic dermatitis to me. Do a search on the web for it and see if this matches it. I have usually seen on peoples heads..........including my sons but this is what it sounds like.

I've got the exact same thing. Went to the doctor & he didn't know what it was. Told me I need to see a Dermatologist. Did you ever find out what it was, Or does anybody else know anything about this?

I wash very often & consider myself to be very clean.

Yes I clean up all the time, If you could please find out what it is I have no idea if you could do that I would like that a lot. I have tried shaving everything off to and it has come back so I have no idea what it is. So if you can help that would be great! Thanks
