Please please help.. is it molloscum
HI, i'm new to all this but would appreciate ANY advise people have thanks.
At the end of christmas, i developed a few large bumps on the shaft of my penis.. These felt quite uncomfortable and they just appeared to be bumps of skin with no head or discolouration etc. I started to put Savlon cream on them thinking that they would just go down but they did'nt. I went to the doctors and he gave me some Fucibet cream and some Penecillin tablets. The skin on the shaft of my penis then went red raw, and the bumps started to ooze a little. As it was red raw 7 days after using the cream, i went back to the doctors (even though, although sore, the bumps had gone down). The doctor refered me to the STD clinic just in case. I went, and he did'nt even look properly and suggested that i had something called Molloscum. He asked me if there were white heads etc and I said no. Also i said that the bumps had gone down etc.. The bumps originally looked like midge bites that you may get on your arm if you can picture it.
Anyway.. That doctor put me on some other Penicillin type tablets, but and he said that i'm looking at 6 months to a year for it to go, but 1 week on and all the scabs have dropped off and the skin is practically all healed. I know he wrongly diagnosed me, i just know it. Surely molloscum would'nt clear so quickly??
I think the bumps were caused with me using a cheap body spray down on my genitals aswell as all over my body, as it stung once done.. I was then having vaginal sex with my girlfriend numerous times using vaseline lubricant on both her and me as she is on some medication that makes her dry... I was thinking that maybe the condition that i had could've been down to something like that?? Does anyone think that this is possible?? Both me and my girlfriend are completely STD free and don't sleep around. I had a full test back in October even just to be sure.
Also was wondering if it would now be safe to have non-safe sex with my girlfriend again (no condom)? As i don't know weather it could pass to her or if she was a carrier without knowing it, be passed back to me..
I'm sure its not that molloscum thing though.. Please please advsie whatever you can.. I'm struggling to talk to people on this one..
Just one finishing cosmetic point which may help your conclusions is that where the scabs have been healing up, it looks like when you've had a scab on your finger when the skin is quite shiney due to healing.
Thankyou to anybody taking the time to read and reply to this
