Enhancement pills. Question about their mechanism.
How do male enhancement pills work? How do they do what they advertise? If you have something that is supposed to pin point one small area of your body, . . . wouldn't those drugs adversly effect other areas of the body? What ELSE might enlarge [dangerously]?
I'm not interested in getting any of these pills. Just curious about the physiology of it.

I can only speak for Viagra (sildenafil). There are a number of things going on in your body for and during an erection. You become aroused and extra blood rushes to your penis. Importantly, your penis then doesn't allow the blood to leave, which is what causes an erection. At a certain point, your body allows the blood to leave and all returns to normal. What sildenafil does is it tells your body NOT to release the blood that has entered your penis. It doesn't GIVE you an erection, you still need to get aroused on your own, it just allows you to keep it. It can seem like it gives you the erections or at least makes them harder because you seem to get it much easier, but chemically speaking, it only allows you to keep it.
Viagra is the only sildenafil available in the States as it's under patent protection. But outside of the U.S, sildenafil is readily available.

Thanks for the reply, . . . but I was more talking about products that are supposed to increase the size. I don't see how such things can work and not be dangerous to other parts of the body.

Increase your size? Nothing will "increase your size". Your penis is the size it is. Like your arm or your foot. Possibly if your erections are not full, you can take something to help you with that and your penis will be it's "largest", but you're not going to find anything that will make a body part larger than what it is.

Well, I wasn't wanting to increase MY size. I'm single and doubt I will ever end up in another relationship, so size is of no matter to me.
I was just thinking of those pills that claim TO increase size and wondered what they would do to other parts of the body. But then, as you said, there isn't anything, so I guess the question is no longer valid.
