I have a question for any of you who might know about this. Something just sprang up and it's scarin me. It's gotta be an std. I remember trimmin my pubic hairs and a little while after that i got these bumps. At first i thought they were razor bumps until they didnt go away. It's been weeks now and there are more. They dont hurt.....they do itch sometimes. I think they are warts but they say those grow on your penis. i dont have anything on my penis or scrotom. does anyone have an idea? what kind of doctor should i see for this?

Where are these bumps exactly? Sounds like pubic hair follicles to me. We've all got them, part of the package and nothing to worry about. They may or may not have a pube in them. Sometimes they'll get impacted and will appear to be a pimple...best to leave it alone and let nature run its course. It could be that you never noticed them until you shaved. Unless you have reason to believe they are an STD, try not to worry about them at all!

oh they can take a WHILE to go away. I got horrible razorburn from shaving a month or so ago and it's still not gone away.

Don't worry about it too much until it starts getting real painful or full of pus.

If they look like small pimples or you shaved--I'd agree with ingrown hairs as the culprit. A warm compress should ease some of the irritation by opening the pores & such. I do that sometimes (or soak in a hot bath) & the hairs usually emerge after a few times doing that. I learned that after shaving, if I see any incling of razorburn, I put Visene on it. It seems to keep less of the hairs from getting ingrown for me. Good luck--I hope this is all your bumps are (probably) & that it clears up for you soon.

they dont look like pimples. they are skin colored....flat on top and the base is red like a red ring around it. nothing comes out of them unless the top gets rubbed off by my boxers or something then they bleed and scab over. instead of going away some are getting bigger. im tryin to get an idea of what it could be.
