im 23 years old and took accutane a couple of years ago. ive noticed that i have some difficulties maintaining an erection sometimes with my girlfriend now. i was wondering if anyone had heard anything about accutane and its possible effects on impotence. thanks...

Impotence or erection problems are not listed as possible side effects of Accutane. This doesn't mean it's impossible, though. Still, I doubt there is a connection as you took Accutane several years ago and are only now experiencing problems. You should probably consider other causes

Yeah I think there is a connection as well, mate. I was on Accutane in my teens and I hooked up with this lady and I couldn't get it up. It didn't make sense and I couldn't place my finger on it. However I do believe Accutane was responsible for it and it's effects are still manifest to this day.
