hey i was just wondering what a couple safe masterbation lubricants are as some i have used ( certain shampoos and soaps ) felt like the head of my shlong was on fire! So aside from Ky , what is ok and what isnt?
There are a variety of lubricants similar to KY in that they are water based (meaning they will easily wash off when you are done and that they wont damage a condom if used with one) which are available in your pharmacy right near where KY and/or condoms are displayed. One new one which is very pleasent and doesn't dry out as quickly as KY in the tube is a gel make by KY which comes in a white plastic squirt bottle. There is also a product called Astroglide which is very slippery.
If you are using the lubricant strictly for masturbation and no condom will be used you could use petroleum jelly (Vaseline). However, never use this with a condom as it breaks down latex and can make the condom break. Also, Vaseline is not water soluable which makes clean up that much harder.
You can also use any of the various hand lotions available but check to see if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
Hi...I think I know a bit more than the last poster about this. There are countless kinds of lubricants out but ony a few that are good. What we want in masturbation, is the feeling of SEX. The things you both mentioned are not good enough. WET, is probably the best and most trusted. One called EROS is more expensive..but let me tell you....it's very "realistic" shall we say. The poster before me said Astroglide and that is GREAT, as well. One last thing..the lubricant's especially for masturbation..are all pretty lousy. The ones that say "J/O formula" (jack off) are too greasy. The ones listed above are the best. You'll see. If you are in a smaller town, you might have to get it on Ebay or something, in the "Everythng else" category. Good luck..or whatever.
