Hi, I will chime in on this one as well. Don't feel embarressed to c the doc, he or she is in the biz of making people better. They do not judge, can't tell ur folks and will help you.
In additon, u shoudn't be afraid for the doc to see u naked either, they see naked people all of the time and r used to it. In additon, the discomfort u have over going to the doc, will be forgotten when u see he or she and they help ur situation. Furthermore, it is good 4 u to be comfortable with others seeing ur body, after all sexual activity should include showing ur g/f ur body.
The 1st time going to the doc, after that it is snap. In additon, start working out a lot. I think the beter built u r, the more comfortable u will be with ur body and the asier ot will be to c the doc or to be seen by members of the oposite sex and in the locker room with ur own sex.
I am 22 and sexually active since I was 12, I felt then and now if i was old enuf to have sex, I sould be mature enuf to c the doc to make sure my health was not comprimized by my sex life, (I have never had unprocted sex ever)! In addtion, I workout a lot and I am proud of how I lok, going to the doc, is part of being an adult and frankly it is very flattering to have a doc, who sees bodies all day long, tell u that u r in great shape.
I also should tell u that I saw a doc, at a clinic, within a few days of losing my virginity. I had protected sex, but flet it was the smart thing 2 do. I looked older than my age and I lied an said I was 16, b/c I was determined to sexualy active and very healthy at the same time.
So by working out, it will help u in ur sex life, in sports, make u more comfortable with friends, and with docs.
Plez, plez, c a doc u will feel better for it, both medically and pys'ly. Take care, happy go lucky
